What makes Urban Village a unique project is its strategic connection with Factory Phnom Penh, where residents have full access to the country’s largest co-working space of over 2,500 sqm, the biggest art gallery, Montessori International kindergarten, over 30,000 sqm of creative space and most importantly Urban Village is the largest walkable community in the city with a lot of public and green space.
The award-winning Factory Phnom Penh was indeed a factory. This 3.4-hectare garment factory once was a production house responsible for 75% of Levi jeans and swimsuit products globally. In 2017, this abandoned factory complex was renovated to become a creative art hub which soon became Cambodia’s biggest startup incubator. Currently, it hosts over 200 startup companies with more than 2,000 workers working on a daily basis. In 2020, Factory Phnom Penh was awarded the “Best Co-working Space in Asia” by PropertyGuru.
Festival Walk is the retail and commercial area on the ground floor of Urban Village Phase 1. It is designed to provide convenience to our residents by having all they need at their doorsteps. Our Festival Walk accommodates some of the biggest brands, from restaurants, grocery stores to salons.
The Retail Street is a new state-of-the-art commercial space inside Factory Phnom Phnom, an award-winning and largest creative hub in Southeast Asia. Spanning over 1,500 sqm, this unique commercial space was officially launched in April 2020 to respond to the growing demand of services and retails from visitors, workers and residents. Adjacent to Urban Village Phase 1 and Phase 2, it is home to some of the most famous multinational restaurants, fashion shops, grocery stores, entertainment facilities, German brewery and more!
